Article ID: 828817

Article Last Modified on 2/20/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services

SYMPTOMS

When you try to edit a Meeting Workspace, you cannot do so.

For example, when you try to add an item to a list in recurring Meeting Workspace, the item is not added correctly. It may be added to the first occurrence of the meeting instead of the occurrence that you want to add it to.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if cookies are blocked on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, configure your security settings to permit cookies specifically for the site that hosts the Meeting Workspace that you want to edit. To do this, follow these steps.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab, and then click Edit under Web Sites.
  3. Type the address of the Meeting Workspace site that you want to edit, and then click Allow.
  4. Click OK two times.
