SYMPTOMS
When Microsoft Windows 2000 generates a Stop error that typically creates a memory dump file listing, you instead receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem may occur if your computer has more than 4 gigabytes (GB) of physical RAM installed. When it processes the Stop error, the computer may time out while trying to complete the memory dump file listing of the kernel memory contents.
RESOLUTION
