SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Windows Media Player, you may experience the following symptoms:
- Playback of local video is slow.
- The low frame rate that is returned by DirectShow results in poor video streaming quality.
- Playback of local audio "stutters", that is, a short sequence of playback is repeated multiple times (this may be approximately one second). The length of the sequence depends on the hardware audio buffer.
