SYMPTOMS
When your users view e-mail messages in the Sent folder in an e-mail client program, the users may not see the addresses of recipients in the Bcc field of the e-mail messages. The addresses in the Bcc field have been removed.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:
- You migrated the user's mailboxes from Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server to Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server.
- The users sent the e-mail messages to themselves and to other recipients.
- The users put their own e-mail address in the To field of the messages.
- The users put the e-mail addresses of the other recipients in the Bcc field.
- The users view these e-mail messages in the Sent folder of their e-mail client program.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 update rollup.

MORE INFORMATION
This hotfix does not correct the problem that is described in the "Symptoms" section on mailboxes that have already been migrated to a computer that is running Exchange Server 2003. You must apply this hotfix to the computer that is running Exchange 2000 Server to fix the problem from occurring when you migrate other mailboxes from Exchange 2000 Server to Exchange Server 2003.
