FIX: No data is returned by the ODBC .NET Managed Provider even though data is available

SYMPTOMS

When you use the SQLFetch function, and the ODBC driver returns SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO, the data reader object of the ODBC .NET Managed Provider returns false, and no data is fetched even though data is available.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
