SYMPTOMS
You create an application in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2002 that contains a DataGrid object. If you use the RIGHT ARROW key, the UP ARROW key, or the DOWN ARROW key to scroll through the DataGrid object, a TextBox object may appear behind the vertical scroll bar and the horizontal scroll bar.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
