CAUSE
This problem occurs when the user account that is configured as the single sign-on administrator does not have local administrator rights to the front-end Web server on your server farm.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, access the single sign-on Help topics that you want in the Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Administration Guide (Administrator's Help.chm). The single sign-on Help topics are listed in the "Managing Single Sign-On and Application Definitions" section of the "Administration" chapter of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Administration Guide (Administrator's Help.chm). To view the Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Administration Guide, do one of the following:

- Double-click the Administrator's Help.chm file in the Docs folder in the root of the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 CD.
