SYMPTOMS
When you turn on the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server e-mail journaling feature, blind carbon-copy information does not appear in the messages that are archived in the journal mailbox.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you configure Exchange 2000 to journal messages to a mailbox that is outside your Exchange organization. In this scenario, journaling in Exchange 2000 does not retain blind carbon-copy information when the archived message is sent to a custom recipient outside the Exchange organization.
RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
To resolve this problem, obtain the August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 update rollup.
