Scepol.log file size increases beyond 1 MB limit

SYMPTOMS

The Scepol.log file size increases beyond its default 1 megabyte (MB) limit. You cannot stop this behavior by setting the PolicyDebugLevel registry value to 0. As the file becomes larger and more fragmented, the system runs more slowly than expected.
