SYMPTOMS
When you use any third-party backup program on your Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer, you may experience one or both of the following symptoms:
- Poor and gradually declining system performance
- Out-of-memory errors
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a memory leak in the code of the Volume Shadow Copy Service backup infrastructure.
RESOLUTION
