SYMPTOMS
When users send Japanese-encoded or Korean-encoded messages between Exchange 2000 computers by using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Microsoft Outlook may not display check boxes correctly when the message is viewed. Outlook may display an unexpected symbol instead of the check box.
