SYMPTOMS
When you try to open a Project file or plan by using Project Professional 2002, the program may abruptly quit or "crash". You may also receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the Project file or plan contains the following Enterprise Resource Outline Code (EROC) option and the option is turned on: Only allow selection of codes with no subordinate codes.
RESOLUTION
How to obtain the hotfix
