SYMPTOMS
When you use a swipe card reader or a keyboard on a Windows 2000-based computer, characters may be dropped or lost in Notepad. This issue may occur if all the following conditions are true:
- You have established an Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) connection to a MetaFrame server.
- The time interval between swipes (scans) or keystrokes is very short.
- The codes that you scan or type are exactly the same, or repeated.
