SYMPTOMS

When you follow the steps that are listed in the "Extending OLAP Cube Services in Microsoft Project Server" article in the MSDN library, you receive the following error message:

The cube scheduled to be built on date at time failed.
(-2147217843) Login failed for user 'MSProjectServerUser'

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, you must re-download the files. To do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
