SYMPTOMS

The Restricted Client property (DBPROP_MSMD_RESTRICTEDCLIENT) of the Microsoft OLE DB provider for OLAP version 8.0 (msolap80.dll) is not discoverable through the connection properties collection for an Analysis Services connection.

Although the property can be specified in a connection string by using "Restricted Client=Value", this problem prevents you from setting or altering the property after a connection has been established.
