SYMPTOMS
When a new issue is assigned in Microsoft Project Web Access to a user, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services version 1.0 does not send an e-mail notification to the user the task is assigned to.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the resource name in Microsoft Project Server does not match the resource name in Active Directory.
RESOLUTION
Service Pack Information
This problem is corrected in Project Server 2002 Service Pack 1.
