SYMPTOMS
When you use the Outlook Object Model in Outlook 2002 to insert two attachments in a Rich Text Format e-mail message, move one of the attachments to a different position in the message body of the e-mail, and then use more Outlook Object Model code to insert another attachment, the new attachment's icon is blank and the icon is missing it's caption text.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you programmatically insert at least one of the e-mail message attachments as an .msg extension message.
