SYMPTOMS
When you use a third-party message transfer agent (MTA) with your Microsoft Exchange 2000 computer, reports that are generated by the Exchange 2000 computer are discarded by the third-party MTA.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Content-ID field is not in the report that is generated by the Exchange 2000 computer. Some third-party MTAs discard reports if they do not contain the Content-ID field.
