SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Exchange information store may intermittently stop responding (crash) without generating an error message.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because there is a stack overflow in the information store. This problem may occur if you use a Web scheduling program with your Exchange server. This problem occurs when Exchange Server stores the conversation properties of vCal attachments sent with messages. The EXCDO component in Exchange Server may store the conversation properties of vCal messages multiple times on the stack. This uses too much space on the stack and causes a stack overflow in EXCDO.
