OFFXP: 4 1/2 pt Double-Line Style Is Inverted in AutoShape

Article ID: 815992

Article Last Modified on 4/7/2006

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Word 2002 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Excel 2002 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 Standard Edition

SYMPTOMS

If you change the style of a line to either 4½ pt (thin line over a thick line) or 4½ pt (thick line over a thin line) in an AutoShape, and then you click OK, the line style is inverted.

For example, when you right-click a drawn line, click Format AutoShape, change the setting in the line Style list to 4½ pt (thin line over a thick line), and then click OK, the line changes to 4½ pt (thick line over a thin line).

Note If you use Word 2002 to open a Word 2000 document that contains these line styles, the line styles are also inverted in this scenario.
