SYMPTOMS

The custom column widths in the Address Book may reset to the default settings.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you use the Select Names dialog box to select the recipients in an e-mail message.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
