SYMPTOMS

When you synchronize a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer and an IBM Lotus Notes personal name and address book, one or more of the following symptoms occur:

  • The computer stops responding.
  • You receive the following error message:

    Access Violation in c0000005.

  • The computer restarts.


CAUSE

This problem may occur if a User Name field contains one of the following characters:

  • Slash mark (/)
  • Equal sign (=)
  • At sign (@)
