SYMPTOMS
You might not be able to copy to the root a file that is larger than the Storage system memory setting. This problem occurs if:
- Your device has a ROM-only file system mounted as the root.
- The Windows folder is shadowed.
- Your device has a hive-based registry.
This is a problem in the desktop Microsoft ActiveSync client; the problem is being worked around with a change in the operating system.
RESOLUTION
