SYMPTOMS
When you copy a contact to the Contacts folder, Outlook 2002 may not detect that a contact with the same name already exists in the Contacts folder. A Duplicate Contact Detected dialog box that prompts you to either add the contact or update the new information from the contact to the existing contact is not displayed. As a result of this, the Contacts folder contains more than one copy of a contact with the same name.

- To save the vCard to the Contacts folder, you open the contact, click Copy to Folder on the File menu, click Contacts in the Copy Item to dialog box, and then click OK.
