SYMPTOMS

In the Commerce Server Business Desk (BizDesk), when you create or change a property definition of decimal data type, the minimum value, the maximum value, and the default values of the property do not appear correctly. Whole number values appear, instead of the decimal value that you entered and saved. However, the decimal values are stored correctly in the Commerce database.

RESOLUTION

On the server running BizDesk, do the following:

  1. In Control Panel, open Regional Options.
  2. Change the system settings for Numbers. Change No. of digits after decimal from 2 to 5.
