SYMPTOMS

When you use the calendar that is part of the Microsoft Outlook View Control (an ActiveX control) on a Web page, there is no way to programmatically return the currently selected date.

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3.

MORE INFORMATION

A new property, named SelectedDate, has been implemented to allow Microsoft Outlook View Control to programmatically return the currently selected date.
