SYMPTOMS

The Remote Retry Queue Length counter may not correctly report the number of messages that are in the retry queue for each link queue.

CAUSE

This problem may be caused by an error in the Remote Retry Queue Length counter calculation. The Remote Retry Queue Length counter calculation is based on the link status and number of messages that are in the retry queue for each link queue. An error exists in this calculation because the number of messages that are already in the retry queue are not included in the counter calculation.
