SUMMARY

Text formatted for superscript or subscript in Microsoft Word for MS-DOS version 5.5 may print with incorrect horizontal alignment on PostScript printers.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word 5.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

This problem may be less noticeable in fonts other than Courier. The alignment problem does not occur in Word version 5.0.
