SUMMARY
Bitstream Fontware version 2.0 is a Microsoft Word version 5.50 companion product. A mail-in coupon for the Fontware Installation Kit is included with the Word 5.50 retail package. This Fontware kit is the same kit that was bundled with Word version 5.00.
If the Fontware coupon was not included with the Word 5.50 package, the Fontware Installation Kit may be obtained by calling Microsoft Sales Information Center at (800) 426-9400.
Support for the Hewlett-Packard (HP) DeskJet, DeskJet Plus, and DeskJet 500 is not available with version 2.00 of the Fontware Installation Kit.
Support for the HP LaserJet III is available through the Bitstream Fontware Module for the HP LaserJet III. To obtain this additional kit, call Hewlett-Packard at (303) 353-7650. The Bitstream Fontware Module for the HP LaserJet III was created for use with Bitstream Fontware version 3.0, but can be used stand alone with the typeface disks that come with Bitstream 2.0. The Fontware Module for the HP LaserJet III does not include typefaces. Upgrades to Bitstream Fontware are available only from Bitstream by calling (800) 522-3668.
