SUMMARY
In Microsoft Word version 4.00, IBMPRO.PRD supports the original IBM Proprinter (now discontinued) and the IBM Proprinter II, a standard 9-pin dot-matrix printer. In Word version 5.00, IBMPRO.PRD supports only the original Proprinter (the Proprinter II is supported by the IBMPROXL.PRD printer driver).
In Word 4.00, IBMPROXL.PRD supports the Proprinter XL, a 9-pin wide-carriage printer. In Word 5.00, IBMPROXL.PRD supports both the Proprinter II and the Proprinter XL.
In Word version 5.00, IBMXL24.PRD supports the Proprinter X24, a 24-pin narrow-carriage printer and the Proprinter XL24, a wide-carriage version of the Proprinter X24.
Word version 5.00 also supports the Proprinter III and the Proprinter IIIXL with the IBMPRO3.PRD printer driver. IBMXL24D.PRD supports the downloadable fonts on the Proprinter XL and XL24.
