Summary:
PROBLEM ID: PRSQL9103054
SYMPTOMS Using the version of ISQL.EXE dated 10/3/90 with the version of PDBLIB.DLL dated 7/14/90 will result in the following error message:
SYS2070: The system could not demand load the application's segment. PDBLIB is in error. For additional detailed information also see message SYS0182.
CAUSE There have been additions to DB-LIBRARY since the 7/14/90 build. When OS/2 tries to load ISQL.EXE and PDBLIB.DLL, it discovers the changes before ISQL gets control. Therefore, there is no way for ISQL to fail more gracefully.
Please note that these additions only affect internal functions used by ISQL, and therefore, this problem only applies to ISQL.EXE.
RESOLUTION Use the version of PDBLIB.DLL dated 10/3/90 that is also shipped with the update to Microsoft SQL Server version 1.10.
