SUMMARY
The Texas Instruments (TI) Travelmate 2000 is a laptop computer with a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. By default, the screen is set in the standard display mode.
When Microsoft Word version 5.00 is run on the Travelmate 2000 in standard mode, the Word screen will not vertically fill the entire computer screen.
To correct this situation, the screen must be set to the LCD expanded mode. To set the Travelmate 2000 to the LCD expanded mode, do the following:
- At the DOS prompt, press the SETUP key.
- Follow the instructions in the chapter titled “Getting Started” of the Travelmate manual.
- Change from LCD standard to LCD expanded.
- Save the settings and reboot the computer.
