PROBLEM ID: WIN9103005
SYMPTOMS When the DlgDirSelectComboBox function is used with a CBS_DROPDOWN or CBS_DROPDOWNLIST style combo box, the function will cause the debugging version of Windows to report a fatal exit (RIP). Under enhanced mode, fatal exit 0x0280 is generated; under real and standard modes, fatal exit 0x0007 is generated.
CAUSE The code did not anticipate the hidden list box that is used in these two styles of controls.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows version 3.0. This problem was corrected in Windows version 3.1.
