PROBLEM ID: DLM9103009
SYMPTOMS When the redirector is loaded in high memory with HIMEM.SYS, and the Messenger service is loaded, the system will hang if the Comm Server DOS Client program is loaded.
CAUSE The Messenger service conflicts with other applications using mailslots while the redirector is loaded in high memory.
RESOLUTION This problem does not occur when the Messenger service is not loaded, or when “himem = no” is specified in LANMAN.INI.
