PROBLEM ID: DLM9103001
SYMPTOMS If you start a named pipe test on a DOS client, and wait until a read/write request which exceeds 1K has failed with error 71, an internal redirector error will occur.
CAUSE This problem occurs if you start a named pipe test on the server, add background I/O, and then start a named pipe test on a DOS client.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DOS LAN Manager version 2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
