SYMPTOMS The DOS or Windows DB-LIBRARY (dblib) application will hang when it attempts to open a connection to a SQL Server.
CAUSE This problem occurs when the dbopen() function is called to a SQL Server, and that SQL Server has every available user connection already in use.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DB-LIBRARY version 1.1. This problem has been corrected in DB-LIBRARY version 1.16, which is available from Microsoft Product Support Services. For more information, please contact your primary support provider.
