PROBLEM ID: PRSQL9103035
SYMPTOMS In a case insensitive database, when issuing a “select distinct” command on a character column in a table, identical rows that have different combinations of uppercase and lowercase letters are returned.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 1.10. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
