PROBLEM ID: PRSQL9103014
SYMPTOMS When the server is stressed, the following data corruption message can occur:
Error 614 A row on page ### was accessed which has an illegal length of #####.
CAUSE This is a locking problem. The corruption occurs when a row is written to a page and the value of the row exceeds the maximum value allowed for rows in the page header.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 1.10. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
