SUMMARY
The Microsoft Diagnostics utility (MSD.EXE) requires DOS version 3.10 or later. Earlier versions of DOS have not been tested with MSD.EXE and therefore we cannot guarantee its results with those versions.
Note: Word version 5.50 requires DOS version 2.11 or later to run.
The Microsoft Diagnostics utility is included with Word version 5.50 and other products. MSD is also available as an application note from Microsoft Product Support Services. Application notes can be obtained by calling Microsoft Product Support Services at (425) 454-2030.
