SUMMARY
If you are using the Panasonic KX-P4455 PostScript laser printer with Microsoft Word version 5.00, you should use Word’s generic PostScript printer driver, POSTSCRP.PRD.
From the Print Options menu in Word 5.00, select PostScript-Dual Bin as the model type for the PostScript printer driver (POSTSCRP.PRD).
In Word version 5.50, select the Multi-Bin PostScript Option as the Printer Name in the Printer Setup dialog box for best results with bin feeding.
If bin selection does not work correctly with POSTSCRP.PRD, Panasonic suggests that you make the following changes to the POSTSCRP.INI file:

After modifying the POSTSCRP.INI file, the printer must be turned off and then back on to clear the old INI file from memory.
Panasonic defines the default paper tray as the lower cassette and the optional paper tray as the upper cassette. This means that in Word, “Bin 1” will refer to the lower cassette and “Bin 2” will refer to the upper cassette.
“Continuous” paper feed refers to the cassette chosen on the printer panel. To choose the “continuous” bin, take the printer off line by pressing the “On-Line” button, then press the “Cassette Select” button to select the desired cassette. To resume printing, place the printer back online by pressing the “On-Line” button again.
