SUMMARY
According to Star, the Laserprinter IV can emulate a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series IIP and an Epson FX-850.
The following is a list of drivers that can be used with this printer. Disk location refers to the Works 2.00 program disks. PRD files shipped with Works 2.00 are in a compressed format. Compressed files cannot be used with Works 2.00. To decompress the files, run Setup, choose “Modify an existing copy of Works 2.0,” and install the printer described below. After installing the new driver, start Works, open or create a new file, and choose Printer Setup (ALT, P, S) to select the new printer driver.
