The information in this article applies to:

Summary:

The following are instructions for exporting a tagged image file format (TIFF) from Lotus Freelance Plus versions 3.00 and 3.01 for use in Word for Windows:

1. In the Charts and Drawings module, choose Print Options and enter the following information:

   1. In the Device field, press SPACEBAR to view device options. Select TIFF Output.

   Note: Freelance Plus can have up to five output devices installed at once. If an option is not visible for TIFF output, see the “Lotus Freelance Plus Version 3.01 Reference Manual” for instructions on installing device drivers.

   2. In the Read Options From field, choose Current Settings if composing an image that has not yet been saved to disk, or choose Saved File if the current settings for the file to be exported have already been saved to disk.
   3. In the Output Mode field, press SPACEBAR to view output options, and select File.
   4. In the File Path field, type in the desired destination of the output file.
   5. In the File Name field, type in the desired filename with a .TIF file extension.
   6. In the Overwrite field, choose Yes.
   7. In the Compression field, choose No compression. If CCITT Group 3 compression is chosen, Microsoft Word for Windows will be unable to interpret the file.
   8. Press F10 or / (slash) when you’re done to save settings and return to the Freelance Plus menu.

2. Choose Print and Go.

Freelance will now generate a TIFF file in the directory location specified.
