- Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.1a, 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c

Summary:

When recording a macro to superscript or subscript text, you must use the Format menu’s Character command to select superscript or subscript.

More Information:

If you are recording a macro to superscript or subscript text and you press CTRL+SHIFT+“+” or CTRL+“=” on the keyboard or click the “+” and “=” icons from the ribbon, the macro command “SuperScript 0” or “SubScript 0” is inserted into the macro text. If a macro is started that uses “SubScript 0” or “SuperScript 0,” nothing will happen. The text will not be subscripted or superscripted. For superscripting or subscripting to take effect, the statement must read “SuperScript 1” or “SubScript 1”. This change must be made manually to the macro for it to work properly.
