Summary:
When you switch out of an automatic slide show by pressing ALT+TAB, the slide show continues to run in the background, making other applications run very slowly or with noticeable delays.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in PowerPoint for Windows version 2.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
