SYMPTOMS If a thread is created by using _beginthread or DosCreateThread() while executing inside a critical section of code, this newly created thread never actually runs.
RESOLUTION Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in OS/2 version 1.21. This problem was corrected in OS/2 version 1.3.
