Summary: The SendKeys to MS-DOS Executive command freezes your mouse, and certain keys on the keyboard are disabled (for example, ESC). For example, the following macro freezes the mouse and disables the ESC key: Sub MAIN AppActivate “MS-DOS Executive” SendKeys “%FR” End Sub Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows versions 1.0 and 1.1.
