The INPUT() function in Microsoft Excel clears the Clipboard as soon as it is executed. The following sequence of statements, for example, would cause a macro error at the PASTE() command:
=COPY() =INPUT("prompt",type,"title",default) =PASTE()
The correct sequence would be as follows:
=INPUT("prompt",type,"title",default) =COPY() =PASTE()
