Disabling AutoOpen Macros When Opening Document Files

When opening a document associated with a template that contains an AutoOpen macro, hold down the SHIFT key while opening the document to disable the AutoOpen macro. Press and hold the SHIFT key until the document is completely opened. You can prevent an auto macro from running by holding down the SHIFT key when you perform the action that triggers the macro.
