Word: Nonbreaking Hyphen Shifts Text with 25-in-1 Cartridge

SUMMARY
When using side-by-side paragraphs in Word versions 5.00 and 5.50, the Pacific Data Products’ 25-in-1 cartridge shifts the text over one space in the right paragraph for each nonbreaking hyphen in the left paragraph.
Instead of the right paragraph being justified, the line that has a nonbreaking hyphen is shifted to the right.
