Batch Printing in Word 5.00

PSS ID Number: Q50300 Article last modified on 11-02-1994

To batch print a set of different documents in Word Version 5.00, use the Library Document retrieval command. Query on a specific subdirectory or drive (for example, C:) and choose the documents to print by pressing the SPACEBAR when the file is highlighted. When a file is selected, an asterisk appears beside it. To print the documents, chose the Printer command on the menu. The option is available to print just the document, just the summary sheet, or both.

Please note that the Chainprint.Mac macro supplied in Word 5.00’s supplied glossary, MACRO.GLY, can’t be used to do this. It is used to print multiple documents all as separate sections or chapters of the same document.
